Dave Barker was the front man, vocalist and writer behind the hit duo Dave and Ansel Collins. Rapping over the tune by Sly Dunbar and Ansel Collins, Dave wrote the words to both Double Barrel and Monkey Spanner. Now after almost a decade of touring Dave is releasing his next album. Specially commissioned by Keith Thomas of the famed Prestige-Elite Records in London, this fantastic album was recorded at the legendary Kufe Studios in London. Renowned musician and producer Lindel Lewis and owner of Kufe has mastered the magic of the Double Barrel sound. Francis and Franklin

Recorded through out 2002, this landmark album is not even due out until the spring. Produced by legendary musician, engineer and producer, Terry D. King, there has not been an album like this for years. Rodigan has already been featuring the tracks on his show and man are they hot. The first single is due out after Christmas and the album will come out in March. Listen out on your station and you might be lucky to catch the first tracks.

We will by next month be bringing news on the new Chosen Few tracks and album release. Serena B will be finishing the last of her tracks to her debut album. The Sensations, not heard for many years will have a compilation completed by the spring. Ambelique is releasing new tracks with Vinyl Gems.
